Denver Broncos select LB Devin White’s  Daniel Jeremiah released his first 2019 NFL mock draft last week and he has the Denver Broncos selecting LSU linebacker Devin White with the tenth overall pick in the first round.

“White is the ideal modern linebacker. He can run, cover and blitz,” Jeremiah said of the selection.

White (6-1, 240 pounds) recorded 172 tackles and 8.5 sacks during his four years with the Tigers. He also broke up nine passes, intercepted one pass, forced three fumbles and recovered four fumbles.

In 2018, White was given the Butkus Award, which is awarded to college football’s best linebacker each season. LSU also named him their Team MVP.

Though White is certainly a talented player, it would be surprising to see the Broncos pass on LSU cornerback Greedy Williams with the tenth pick. Jeremiah has Williams falling all the way to 16th overall, selected by the Carolina Panthers.

Jeremiah’s mock draft has three QBs selected in the first round: Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins to the New York Giants (No. 6), Duke’s Daniel Jones to the Miami Dolphins and Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray to the New England Patriots (No. 29).
