Paxton Lynch remains on at least one team’s radar.
The 24-year-old quarterback worked out with the Packers Tuesday, according to a report from ESPN, which cited an unidentified league source. Lynch has been out of the league since he was cut by the Broncos in early September.
Lynch reportedly met with the Bills shortly after he became a free agent. He has also been linked to the Jaguars, Buccaneers and Titans, among others.
The Broncos selected Lynch out of Memphis in the first round of the 2016 draft. He appeared in five regular season games over two seasons with Denver.
Lynch struggled this preseason and was demoted to third string on Denver’s depth chart before he was released.
Packers star signal caller Aaron Rodgers has struggled through injuries throughout the season, but he said he wants to finish out the team’s last two games, even though Green Bay has already been eliminated from the playoffs.
The Packers (5-8-1) will face the Jets (4-10) on the road in Week 16 action Sunday.
